The Blanks Working Group (“BWG”) held a conference call on November 16, 2021, in lieu of the 2021 Fall National Meeting, to review and consider the adoption of four previously exposed positions. Of those four items, only one was adopted. The other three items were either deferred and re-exposed to allow for further comments and discussion, withdrawn or rejected.
Adopted Item
The item below was adopted with minor editorial updates with no additional comments from the BWG, regulators, or other interested parties. This adoption applies to the Life/Fraternal and Property blanks, and will be effective for the 2022 Annual Statement.
- 2021-14BWG Modified: This item expands the number of lines of business reported on Schedule H to match the lines of business reported on the Health Statement. In addition, this change brings uniformity of the A&H lines of business disclosed across the schedules and exhibits in the annual statement. Lastly, the Annual Statement instructions have been modified to be uniform between Life/Fraternal and Property.
