We are looking for a talented engineering manager to help us take our team to the next level. In this position you will lead a team to solve the hard problems needed to make our customers’ lives better.
As engineering manager, your primary role will be to recruit, hire, improve, and inspire a talented and growing team of engineers. As a young company we are looking for someone who can establish practices around feedback, career development, and team growth.
This position will also involve some hands-on engineering work. While not the primary function of this role, we believe that engineering managers need to stay rooted in the work their team does and to this end we feel that being a player-coach is an important aspect of being a manager of other engineers.
While this role will require many skills, we are especially looking for candidates who have experience with:
- Managing engineers as direct reports
- SaaS-delivered software
- Working with modern software development methodologies
- Technical background equivalent to a Senior Software Engineer or higher
More than anything, we are looking for people who are passionate about building great products that customers love – people willing to go out of their way to make things easy to use and put the burden on the software not on the customer.
